Three kinds of work, one standard. We take on a handful of watches at a time, so each has our full attention. A first estimate is free and high level: a look under the microscope with the back open and a timing check on the timegrapher, given by email or phone. The full diagnosis, documented in writing and photographs, comes once the work is under way.
Servicing
A complete overhaul for a watch in good order: fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled, regulated and resealed.

Bringing an old, worn or incomplete movement back to sound, reliable working order: parts sourced where they exist and made by hand where they do not, and past bad repairs put right.

Refurbishment
A full service taken to the finishing bench: the movement brought to its best possible timekeeping, then decorated and refinished by hand. Some of what is possible: anglage, Geneva stripes, snailing on the ratchet wheel, black-polished elements, sand blasting and more, plus upgrades like an open sapphire caseback. The exact work is yours to shape with us.

Prices are estimates for a standard job. A free first estimate comes before anything else; if the movement reveals more once the work is open, the addition is agreed with you before it goes ahead. You are welcome to see the workshop before you decide. Prices are shown net; VAT is added where applicable.
Every job carries a written warranty. Its length depends on the work done and the movement used, generally 12 months.

First estimate
A quick, free assessment: a look under the microscope with the back open and a timing check on the timegrapher. You get an honest verdict and a rough price, by email or phone.
Proposal
The initial work is agreed and under way. If anything beyond it comes to light, we come back to you with the added work and any price adjustment, and go ahead only once you approve.
The work
The movement is fully stripped, cleaned, rebuilt and lubricated, worn parts made or sourced, everything documented as we go.
Return
Your watch comes back cleaned, regulated and tested for accuracy, with its service record, any replaced parts returned to you, and the warranty in writing.
The door is open.
